FBA fee calculator (2026 rate card)
Your FBA fee is set by three things: size tier (from dimensions and weight), weight band, and — new for 2026 — your item's price band (<$10, $10–50, >$50). A 12-oz item under $10 fulfills for $3.13; the same item priced over $50 costs $4.21. On top of every table rate Amazon adds a 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge that the published tables exclude. Enter your item below; the applied band is cited to Amazon's official rate card.
FBA charges ≈ $6.31 per unit to fulfill this item (fee $6.1 + 3.5% surcharge).
- FBA fulfillment fee (large-standard, 2.33 lb shipping weight, $10–50 price band) Official fact$6.1
- Fuel & logistics surcharge (3.5%) Official factAmazon's rate tables exclude this surcharge; it is billed on top since 2026-04-17.$0.21
Assumption: Dimensional weight (2.33 lb = L×W×H ÷ 139) exceeds unit weight and is used as the shipping weight.
Assumption: Non-peak rates (peak fees apply Oct 15 – Jan 14 and run higher).
- Crossing a price band ($10 / $50) or a weight band moves the fee in steps, not smoothly — check the next band before repricing.
- Dimensional weight punishes light-but-bulky items; smaller packaging directly cuts the fee.
- Peak season (Oct 15 – Jan 14) uses a higher table.
The 2026 fee mechanics that actually move your cost
Price bands replaced the old uniform card in January 2026: items under $10 automatically get Low-Price FBA rates (about $0.86/unit lower on average), and crossing $50 adds another step. If your price hovers at $9.99 or $49.99, that's Amazon telling you where to price.
Dimensional weight (L×W×H ÷ 139) applies from the large-standard tier up — a light, boxy product is billed as if it were heavy. Then remember the two costs outside this calculator: monthly storage ($0.78/cu ft standard Jan–Sep, jumping to $2.40 Oct–Dec) and peak-season fulfillment fees from Oct 15 to Jan 14.
Common questions
- Does this include referral fees?
- No — the referral fee (typically 15%) is a selling fee charged whether you use FBA or not. Stack this fulfillment fee on top of it in the net margin calculator for the full picture.
- What about large-bulky and extra-large items?
- Their formulas aren't modeled here yet; the calculator says so instead of guessing. Check the official rate card linked below for those tiers.

- Amazon applies a 3.5% fuel and logistics-related surcharge on top of FBA fulfillment fees in the US and Canada (and on FBA remote fulfillment fees from the US to Canada, Mexico and Brazil) from 2026-04-17; extended to US Buy with Prime and US/Canada Multi-Channel Fulfillment from 2026-05-02. - Low-Price FBA still exists in 2026: items priced under $10 automatically get Low-Price FBA fulfillment rates, on average $0.86 per unit lower than rates for items $10+ (up from $0.77 in 2025). No enrollment needed. The Low-Price rates are identical to the <$10 column of the main 2026 rate card (e.g. small standard <=2 oz = $2.43 non-peak; large standard >3-20 lb = $6.15 + $0.08 per 4 oz above 3 lb; small bulky = $6.78 + $0.38/lb above first lb).
