Two rate-card details that decide real money

First, the packaging allowance: WFS adds 0.25 lb before rounding up, so a 0.8 lb item with any dimensional heft bills as 2 lb, not 1 — near-the-edge products should be weighed with this rule in mind before you price. Second, the card's own published quirk: the 31–50 lb band's base ($14.55) is lower than the 21–30 lb band's ($15.55), so a 31 lb shipment genuinely bills less than a 29 lb one. That's Walmart's table, not our arithmetic — the calculator preserves it and cites it.

Storage is separate and seasonal: $0.75/cu ft from January–September; in October–December the first 30 days stay at $0.75 and anything older bills $2.25/cu ft — slow Q4 inventory is where WFS margins quietly die. Does WFS have peak fulfillment surcharges like FBA?
As of the current public rate card, no peak fulfillment (non-storage) surcharge is published — peak pressure comes through the Oct–Dec storage rates instead.
